Facebook Questions

Have you left me a comment on my Facebook questions? I am loving the responses I am getting. In case you are not on Facebook, let me repeat the questions here and please feel free to comment at the end of this post. Leave a comment about any of the questions...

Question #1: What would you like as Exclusives here on my blog?

Question #2: How often do you purchase layout template kits?

Question #3: What are your "must haves" in a kit? List as many items as you want. Ideas might be: flowers, ribbon and alpha or strings, themed elements and tags

Question #4: What are your favorite color combinations? List as many combinations as you'd like but try to keep each color combination to 2-3 colors.

Question #5: What kits are you hoping to find in the new year? Be as specific as you can. Examples might be: Valentine's kits for kids or birthday kit for adults

Plans for the New Year

I am making my plan for the New Year and tentatively deciding what types of kits to make and when to schedule them. I have some fun kits in the works and I hope you will like them. Creative Ideas with Holiday Rush

I have some fun layouts for you to see. The CT's at Scrapable are lifesavers for me! They come up with the cutest ideas for my Holiday Rush kit.

Let's start with this one by Renee. I love this little peek-a-boo idea showing some of the elements peeking through from underneath.

Karla created this layout showing her Gingerbread House creation. I love the open space around her photo with just a few strips of paper to set it off!

Wow!

Layouts with My House

Can I just say that my CT members never cease to amaze me with their creativity!!!

I love how Nicole took this kit and applied it to her life right now, scrapbooking her daughter's "house"!

Krista's blended photo in this layout is perfect. I wish I had good photos of all the places we have lived so I could make a layout for each house and record the memories that made it our home!

Lori created this layout with the phrase "There's no place like home"! I love her photos of the kids in the flower garden.

This last one is a page I made. My daughter is a first time home owner and I created this kit with her new home in mind. She has taken photos throughout the building process so I will have lots of photos to play with.

This first one was created by Krista with a photo of her nephew. It is so sweet...

This next one was designed by Lori using a template from Amber Morrison, another designer at Scrapable. I love the clustering she did. Even though she used the same paper background as Krista, the look is much different...

Saskia used another template of Amber's to create this layout with my kit. I love the elements she used!

This fourth one was created by me to commemorate my parents' 60th anniversary back in 2001.

Creative Inspirations with Celebrate Life

I lost my dad in 2005 and my mom in 2008 and have never done a page for just the two of them. That, among other things, prompted me to create the kit Celebrate Life. With this kit, I was finally able to make a page just for them.

Lori created this page for her mother and I love the way she used the lace and other elements. She did a great job with this!

In this page by Saskia, her message is to live each day and celebrate life with the everyday things because time passes quickly.

Krista created this page with a beautiful message and no photos. I love it!

Revealing the latest kit: Celebrate Life

I created this kit to be used as part of a grieving process when we lose a loved one. My hope is that you can use this kit to help you remember the good times shared with loved ones and celebrate the time you had with them. I hope that the papers and embellishments will help you tell the story of why that person was important in your life and in the lives of others.
