Creative Inspirations with Second Spring

I have some layout inspirations for you today using the new kit Second Spring. Feel free to scraplift these ideas for your own page!

Krista created this gorgeous layout with photos of her boys rolling around in the leaves!

This layout is one I did using photos from a few years ago taken when our family visited Missouri. I used a collage of photos and then covered the area between the photos with a straight ribbon to dress it up a bit.

New Autumn Kit: Second Spring

Are you beginning to think of autumn layouts with fall colored leaves, football games and other outside activities? With the promise of cooler weather on the way, I was inspired to do a kit for fall. I love fall colors and really enjoyed working with the colors in this kit. I hope you will find that it suits the photos of fall that you have.

You can find this kit here.

Watch for layouts using this kit tomorrow!

Boys of Fall Creative Inspirations

I have a great group of Creative Team members that always make my kits look good! This week I have 3 layouts to show you. All three were made with my new kit Boys of Fall; each one is totally different.

This first layout is by La'Shawn who just happened to be going to a college football game last weekend. This kit was perfect timing for her photos. Here's her layout:

Wanda created this page about freshmen traditions at the college her daughter is attending.

This last page is by Karla and she shows off her son's artwork about football in the layout. Such a cute idea she had!

One kit, 3 ideas. Hope you enjoyed seeing these pages as much as I did!

Here's my new favorite font (for this week, at least)! It's called Pea Noodle's Girlfriends and you can find it here at Kevin and Amanda's Fonts. It was the font that Amber Morrison used on the template she created for the September Template Challenge I told you about last week and I love it!

Are you a Font-aholic???

I love finding new and unusual fonts. I look for ideas on blogs, I browse through font sites and I check the credits for layouts that have fun fonts.

Each month at Scrapable we host a Font Challenge and I have found a lot of good ones there. I've even hosted the challenge a time or two.

This month, here's what we have for you: Janda Curlygirl found at Dafont.com. Wanda is the host for this font challenge and I encourage you to give it a try.

Here's the page she created using the Janda Curlygirl font on the title:

Creative Inspirations with It's A Beautiful Day

I have  some new pages to show you that were created by my designer friends and CT's at Scrapable using my latest kit It's A Beautiful Day!

This one was created by Monica of ViolaMoni. Monica is a designer at Scrapable who calls Italy her home. Besides the page layout, she created the cluster seen on this page and allowed me to include it in the goodies my newsletter subscribers received this week!

Bev, the owner of Scrapable created this page with my kit saying that she loved the colors and she used it in the September Scraplift Challenge at Scrapable. She shared it with me and I just had to show you!

This layout was created by one of my CT's at Scrapable. Karla did a great job with the clustering to highlight this adorable photo!

Saskia used these wonderful photos with the kit and created this beautiful page. It's the kind of layout I imagined when I created this kit!

This is the page I made with the kit. I have so many photos I want to create pages with and these photos worked well with the colors in the kit.

I hope these pages have given you inspiration for your own layouts that you want to create!

It's A Beautiful Day - new kit available today!

Sometimes I enjoy making kits that are more generic and can be used for a lot of different layouts. That's the idea behind my latest kit named "It's A Beautiful Day". The colors are soft and soothing and there are lots of elements to use on your pages.

It contains 15 papers and 51 elements such as frames, borders, scatters, ribbons, strings, tags, and a shaped journaling spot with a text path so your journaling will fit exactly inside the shape. There's a bit of messy stitching, brads, buttons and flowers galore. You can find this kit today at my shop at Scrapable!
